Patric and Rhiannon started Culcheth High on the same day. Rhiannon remembers her first meeting Patric:
We met in our first design technology lesson at high school, which
would've been Thursday 9th September 2010. I didn't know anyone in theclass so I sat by myself and Patric also didn'tknow anyone in the class so he came to sit next to me. I had no idea whohe was! I saw him write that he was in 7m on a piece of paper which was thesame form as me so then we startedtalking. I'm a really shy person usually and I struggle to say a sentenceto a new person but I felt entirely comfortable with him and we talked forthe whole two hours. In the two hours wehad to play a memory game with the rest of the class to see who couldremember a circuit the best and we had to play it in pairs so me and Patricworked together and we won!! And for ourprize we had to share a chocolate bar and ever since that DT lesson I hada crush on him (which I was teased constantly about by my friends for thenext two years).
